MSR, from Malcolm Smith Racing, is a brand of motocross apparel, motocross accessories, and motocross parts founded in 1971 by Hall of Fame racer Malcolm Smith. After his racing career was over, Smith started importing European nylon-lined throttle and brake cables, and later began selling off-road jerseys and boots. Eventually, MSR was purchased by distributing giant Tucker Rocky Distributing Inc., based in Forth Worth Texas.
